It might be said that it purely depends on server processing time and doesn't take into account anything else like Time to First Byte. This is the free arm of hosting provider iFastNet, which might also catch some attention since their cheapest plan seems to come with six free domains! This free Host has a lot to offer and might be worth looking at.

Since they offer so much to a free account, what do you get from paying for Byet Host hosting? Upgrades to SSD-driven performance, free domains, and pretty awesome - a different control panel (cPanel). Prices start from $4.99 per month to $7.99 per month.
What's the catch?
While Byet Host sounds too good to be true, it might be best if you take the time to examine what they have to offer in detail. I've found that the way many terms and services are said to be a bit shady and open to interpretation in various ways.

This host is entirely above the board, and we can see, with no big surprises even in the Terms and Conditions.

FreehostingNoAds has been around for 18 years, and I don't love you. This site is very generous in terms of what it offers, in fact, more than what some paid accounts pay for. I guess part of it is subsidizing through ads because they plaster google ads all over their website. They promise not to force you to carry their ads.

FreehostingNoAds seems to be another hosting site that doesn't believe in uptime guarantees. However, users who join are offered technical support, even on the free plan. However, it doesn't explain what nature supports it - this could be just a reference to a knowledge base or FAQ.

Upgrade options are available, and they're very cheap here. The most expensive plan you can use is just $1.99 per month, and it offers almost everything you could want. In fact, for the $1.99 program, they even give you $125 worth of ad credits!
What's the catch?
Apart from the no uptime guarantee and undefined references to tech support, nothing else. This seems to be aimed primarily at people looking for free or cheap hosting solutions, and that's about it. Given that they have entire pages dedicated to creating HTML5 sites that eventually lead to Wix, they are probably a subsidiary of an affiliate.
5. FreeHostingEU
FreeHostingEU is not affiliated with Freehosting.com, but it reminds us a bit of Freehostia in the sense that it offers a paltry amount of storage space that you hope will frustrate and improve. I'm not sure where the mentality of bugging your customer in hopes he'll pay you comes from, but it seems to be a success for web hosts. There is no point if this host offers a .eu5.net domain, even for a free account.

What's up with Free EU Hosting?
Compliance is expected in many areas, which is a bit unusual because, well, who thought about some of these things? For example, you must agree to limit your space to only 10% image files, 10% archives, etc. So, in fact, you get a web host that you can dump… 20MB of active images.

There is no mention at all of the uptime guarantees or technical support. In fact, even though a forum is registered, it doesn't really exist. A cursory search returns many comments that this is not a completely reliable host.

The upgrade options here are the first we've seen that their paramount price depends on different control panels. FreeWHA appears to be a modification of the open-source control panel script. Fees range from $1 per month to $6.99 per month.
What's the catch?
The catch clause list is a mile long, and personally, I dread hosting even a free site here. There are no actual limits in black and white, but at the same time, they claim the right to terminate accounts for almost any violation that is deemed to have occurred, even excessive use of resources. Definitely not the way to win friends. Even their ad-free claim is conditional. As they say, they will force ads on any site they want.
